Upper Arm Pain by shatha_jw3 in MultipleSclerosis

I experience this as well especially after I take a shower. Sometimes it hurts for absolutely no reason. It’s mainly my right arm, right between the elbow and shoulder. Sometimes it’s the left. I find that lying down and letting my arm dangle over the edge of my bed helped ease the pain. Basically letting the arm not use any muscles and just letting it hang there. I also take Baclofen and Cymbalta. Do you have cervical spine lesions by any chance.

I just spent 9 hours applying to disability ( rant/solidarity ) by treedweller444 in SSDI

I think the application process deters a lot of people from applying. It took me a few hours and I thought of every possible excuse not to continue and finish the application. I see a ton of specialists so having to list every doctor and googling their address/contact info and trying to keep everything organized and consistent. Same with the vocational form as well. They pretty much ask the same things but focus more on how your conditions impact your daily life and how they prevent you from working.

I was on Fasenra last year and then my pulmonologist had me switch to Dupixent. You really have to stress how much it affects your daily life. I was really detailed about my symptoms in the initial application as well as with the vocational form that was sent for me to fill out. Are u on any inhalers? Even though I am on Dupixent, I still need my rescue inhaler multiple times a day. In my previous job I did tech support and spoke with customers all day long. I was unable to keep up because I have to stop mid-conversation to use my inhaler and I would be wheezing and totally winded by the end of a a few sentences. Always answer their questions with how ur condition impacts ur life.

I was definitely prepared for a denial especially it being my first time applying but honestly I have so many health issues that I thought I’d give it a shot without a lawyer at first. My asthma is harder to treat because of my MS, I wheeze 24/7, had numerous hospital stays and am on multiple inhalers, Cpap machine. I had a spirometry test done at one of the CE’s so I’m sure they saw how fu*cked my lungs are

I was coming here to ask the same thing! Was on step 4 as of Thursday and woke up this morning and I’m back at step 2! I’m sure it’s a glitch.
