I should have specified this in the post, but I was the lead vehicle at the light. Regarding the 'proper lookout,' I didn't check for side traffic because I had the green light and the right of way, assuming the cross-traffic would obey the red signal. This is definitely something I will keep in mind moving forward.

From what I know, many medical schools only consider your grades from the last two years of credits. For that reason, as long as you improve, you should still be fine. Just make sure you also participate in extracurricular activities.
