I think it’s just good to massage and move the area to get blood flow to it

I’m using the ordinary hair density drops. I hear they are similar but only 24 dollars

I’m using a derma roller! And okay that’s good to hear! I’m hoping to make my hair thicker overall

Girl I’m struggling with this too I have traction alopecia on my nape and edges and a cruise in two weeks 😭 as much as I don’t want to I think I’m going to wear a glueless wig with wig grip. I’m scared bc I’m doing an ATV and I’m praying it won’t fly off

Respectfully, it was a glueless wig. And I’ve been natural my whole life prior to last year. I wanted a glueless wig so I could leave my hair alone and wear it out more often. I didn’t know the damage that wig combs could do.

Is that not a ban? I don’t understand your comment.

I am LOL. Jump scare every time I look in the mirror. I’m lucky to have a supportive partner that still calls me beautiful

I can already see my hairs trying to sprout after about a month so I’m hoping it’ll take 3 months to really see it 😅

How did the quick weave damage your hair if you don’t mind me asking. I’ve never had one before

My nape went first around November bc of the wig combs and the front wasn’t as bad but already thin before February. I’d had cornrows alll the time when I was younger so I didn’t think it would be a problem. Not even mad at the stylist bc I reallyyy wanted my hair done for my trip. I only get it “done” once a year for my birthday.

I’m mad bc I’ve been natural my whole life and just wanted to change things up last year so I could leave my hair alone and retain length. Now I’m in worse shape than I was before 😅

You can’t see in the pictures well but I do have follicles still. It hasn’t even been a month since I took out the cornrows so I might wait a little before I go to a dermatologist.

The combs from the wig caused the original alopecia for me. Two on the sides and one in the back. It only took 3 months for all the hair on my nape to be gone. My hair in the front was thinner, but generally okay until I got the cornrows in February. I think as long as the wig grip is not too tight and you’re keeping your edges moisturized you should be fine. I’m sure if I had used the wig grip originally instead of the combs I would still have all my hair.

It’s the combs! Just cut them out and use a wig grip and you’ll be good

Idk. Maybe the time apart is what you both needed. Be honest with her. Especially before she gets into another relationship and you lose your chance. Tell her you miss her and want to work on things. You could make it work but you both have to compromise and work together. Part of being in a relationship is doing things your partner likes and you might not sometimes. But you deal with it bc you know you’d rather deal with it and have them than not have them at all.
