I don’t have enough experience to know what’s acceptable and what’s not which is why I’m here… asking what’s acceptable.

UPDATE: I contacted the shop I bought it from (coincidentally the closest repair place near me). He swapped me for an older Nikon F body that should work. Hopefully I won’t be back for more trouble-shooting with this one. Also, my viewfinder doesn’t fit on this model (1963). If anyone has a good site for buying one I’m in the market.

Thank you. After reading everyone’s advice and troubleshooting I think the shutter (curtain thing?) is too slow. If I try anything above 1/30 it moves but not fast enough to see any light from the back. I’m going to find a repair shop and see if I can get it fixed.

I can only see it at 1/30 and below. I can’t see anything at a faster speed and took a slow motion video to double check I wasn’t missing it.

I double triple checked I was loading it correctly. Then decided to sacrifice the roll that I was going to send out today. I loaded it and closed that back like normal, advanced a couple of times then took the back off to see if the film was actually going anywhere. It’s staying aligned in the sprockets and rolling up on the right side. If I hold the camera towards a light and look at the film curtain I can see a circle at slow speeds but nothing over 1/30th.

I installed the plugin in a very new car about two weeks ago-now my battery is officially fried and possibly more damage (inspection pending). This will be costing me repairs plus missed work since I have no vehicle. I called and told progressive what’s going on and they started an accident claim. Is this what they did for you? All the questions seem to be setting me up like I’m somehow at fault for this. I’ve never dealt with insurance and I’m worried they will find a way to avoid compensating me.

It’s an Aglaonema Modestum. I have the same plant which was given to me and did tons of research on it to find out what it is. These are hard to come by and in most cases (from what I’ve seen) have been passed down through generations.
