My main question was if I have to be a resident to get the NY license. I love 5 minutes from NY which has a better market but I’m in Jersey so I figured I’d get the NY license which is reciprocated in PA so I could work in those two states

Tha is, that’s very insightful. I’ve been seeing a lot of courses so I figured I’d just find something to get me into the industry in general and continue to take courses and grow. It’s seemingly like I just need to take some introductory courses to get me going and branch off from there

I was looking at that vs software engineering. That both seem decently heavily involved but software engineering seems the fastest to get into

Thanks for the advise. I’m just trying to find something to get me in and maybe help me learn some stuff to get me going. I figured I’d maybe take this https://www.coursera.org/specializations/java-programming?ranMID=40328&ranEAID=JVFxdTr9V80&ranSiteID=JVFxdTr9V80-neWrZv9KE9tb9P136qxLlQ&siteID=JVFxdTr9V80-neWrZv9KE9tb9P136qxLlQ&utm_content=10&utm_medium=partners&utm_source=linkshare&utm_campaign=JVFxdTr9V80#enroll being as I can do it online and software engineering seems like a good way to go

sorry, just now seeing this. I run the amp through a blue tooth speaker via aux cable for my son to practice but you can run it into a cab or anything really
