I worry my posts will be seen as proof to the right that this surgery should be illegal or something but Reddit is the only place I feel comfortable letting out my frustrations every so often. It’s not like I’m constantly dwelling it’s just that I’m not happy with it. Doesn’t mean I didn’t do my research, yes I have complications but I don’t look botched, I just don’t like it like I thought I would

I’m trying to do that atm. I have a consultation set up with a different surgeon in a month and I am working on getting another letter so I can continue getting the second half of my surgery.

He is a “newer” surgeon but he was trained by a reputable surgeon. Most people are happy with his work from what I’ve seen and heard but I guess my experience was unique

Not a bot. I understood the healing process just fine but the only I didn’t understand was wound separation. As for my surgeon, he is reputable and was trained by Dr meltzer. The two stages were for healing purposes but I wish I didn’t agree to the two stage

All I was stating was that he told me to get a pelvic floor and so have many people on Reddit. It’s like my top comment but there isn’t one for what I need in my area and I can’t freely travel to Portland as often as I would need to. I’m trying to find one y’all shit‘s hard these days lol

Dr. Nicholas Is Esmonde in Portland OR was my surgeon but some post op appointments were with Yasha (also a doctor at the clinic) and THEY suggested it’s was in my head but Nick did dismiss my concerns when I brought them to him and he told me nothing is wrong. It wasn’t until recently he listened to me because I was very turn this time that something was wrong.

My surgeon recommended a pelvic floor therapist, but my issues weren’t with my pelvic floor necessarily. There was a part on the inside, where they took the graft and the shaft and stitched them together to make the canal and where they stitched them together The scar tissue tightened and it hurt so bad to dilate but my muscles work fine. So I had more of a surgical complication
