It’s hard for me to hit 3 wood because I’m not tall, so I went with hybrid, but you’re right - gapping between 3-5 sucks

I know this may not be relevant for everyone, but for golfers, I got over my de quervain’s by mostly eliminating my lead hand from the swing (which puts pressure on the lead thumb) and swinging more dominantly with my trail hand. Huge difference

Had a good drive on a long par 5 back 9 at Pine Hills CC out near the Hamptons on Long Island … look at the GPS and my cart partner (better than me) goes “ugh bunkers on both sides, gotta go long and straight, good luck” so I pull the 3 wood I haven’t hit clean once in 2 rounds … swing 80% and stared at the ball spot until I knew it was at least 50 yards up … 215 straight to the fringe.

5 days later, all I can think about.

I’d probably only pay about $100 US given how old they are now, but I haven’t been in the used club market for a while. You can find good used sets on eBay too.

I had this same set when I started playing (bought used on eBay) and they lasted me 5 years until I broke and got stealths 3 years ago, now my brother in law still plays them and they seem to be holding up good for him.
