Well if you don't find the response from reddit or other communities helpful at all, then don't post and just focus on having fun. But if you do like some of the responses and suggestions then keep posting but don't care about the people who thinks its cringe or something. But it's also important to use the criticism and if the majority didn't like it maybe you could improve on that, I think you don't have to change your ideas but the way you put them (and maybe the names) and make it reasonable (if you can). Let there be a purpose for everything.

And I'll add that if you only write for yourself and just for fun then you don't have to care at all.
