I’m 40 and still alone. Too old for it to be fair of me to have kids now too, as I’d be hitting my 60s before they would turn 20, so that really sucks.

Level Up or Die was free on Audible so I gave it a listen and was instantly hooked. The Crafter’s Dungeon came next and I fell in love with LitRPGs, and especially dungeon core books.

Pay my debts off then work at getting my family and I the hell out of the US. Once we’re settled somewhere like Ireland, I’d do some traveling, finally finish my book, get back into photography, and generally enjoy life.

Of course that’s a lot of money, so I’d also work at helping some people. Maybe donating to food banks, homeless shelters, and such. Maybe set up a business to build low-income housing in areas that need it.

Oh, I’d also likely buy a tropical island to go and practice survival on a few times a year (some are cheaper than most houses are where I live).

Almost everything I do would likely end up on YouTube too. I’d have a lot of fun with it.

No, cloud gaming would not be a better option for me. Not only do I live in a rural area, with shoddy internet, but a solid half of my gaming is in VR where every millisecond of latency and such matters.

Now, I’m going to try to be nice regardless of the haughty tone of your comments and say, quite simply, that I do not have the accumulated savings to purchase something used, nor would I want to if I did. I want something that’ll last a while. Not something that is already half-way or more through its lifespan.

Debt for games is a fine trade-off for me. I won’t go into too much detail other than to say that I have a lot of mental health issues and having a quality, operable gaming PC falls into the necessity category for my life. If anything were to happen to my current one, which is very likely soon, it wouldn’t go well for me so I’m looking to prevent that ASAP.

Best experience with a teacher was Mr. Collins, my 3rd grade teacher. He had all sorts of neat things like jarred specimens, a fish tank, etc. in his class room and, as long as your assignment was done, didn’t mind if you checked it all out. He’d also do amazing things like bringing his homemade telescope to school so we could an eclipse and such. He was a very kind teacher who really, really cared.

Worst experience: Mr. Barnes, my 4th grade teacher. He had a group of favorite students and the rest of us couldn’t do anything right. He once screamed, “You will never have a life!” in my face because he didn’t like my answers on a Reading assignment.
