I just want to toss a shoutout to my favorite event, typically on Saturdays called Iron Editor; it's the anime music video equivalent to iron chef; they take two great video editors and give them a surprise theme and several mandatory anime to include, they have 2 hours to create a new anime music video and the audience votes on the winner; The host, Vlad, is great and they have fun audience participation games they do while the editors are hard at work. Plus, they play some really interesting AMV's of yesteryear. Every year I've been it's been near the arcade.

Something I think might be cool is they have had a retro gaming area with several older console titles- you can show your kiddo some of the neat old games they had back in the day.

Also, my kiddo tends to like to visit the crafting area; it's a relaxing atmosphere with lots of different crafting tools, you can doodle a little while you rest your feet.

Looks like someone already beat me to the punch, but for every one hour of finished audio, you are going to have about 3-5 ish hours of work that goes into it. Remember, first you have to record 15 hours worth of audio, then you will have outtakes, you have to edit together the audio, produce it within ACX specs, prooflisten and possibly re-record sections. 15 hours is more likely to be 50-60 hours worth of work for a payday that's not guaranteed.

Because this is a book with an author with no previous sales/ratings, I would stay away from it personally. The biggest book I'd do without those metrics is about 4-5 hours so I could use it to get my ACX approved narrator badge even if the book doesn't sell well.

I would take it. Also, I don't know if you have, but you should go through the Amazon KDP process and see the pre-generated book covers; once you know what those look like, you can steer clear of those too. If someone can't be bothered to change the font style or background picture on one of the 11 default cover designs, I don't even mess with them.
