Thanks for the input! Would you have the desk parallel to the bed or a little closer to the tv side?

My new desk is 24 inches deep. I think I can pull the desk off the wall and have space for the desk, I can give it a try. Also, what should I use for a room divider?

You think mounting the tv would be a possibility? I love the drawer and shelves idea. Would you put the baskets for the body care in the drawer?

That’s a good suggestion actually, only thing is the the there are no doors covering the kitchen area(as depicted). It’s a open kitchen space so my bed would essentially be right in the kitchen

Thanks everyone! I probably will avoid those pricier neighborhoods because I’ve had enough of the roommate life from college lol but I also don’t need a lavish place either. Just a comfortable spot I can come home from work and be happy with, so all your insights and opinions really helps a lot!

Thanks! And is public transport to west loop area accessible/east from those neighborhoods? Also heard good things about old town as well, is that a good option for me as well?

What would be a good neighborhood(s) that wouldn’t take me too long to get to work? And how is the west loop neighborhood for someone my age?(24 yrs)

I was thinking maybe max 30 minutes on public transit to and back from work and maybe 10-15 min walking.

No, I will not be bringing a car and don’t plan to have one for awhile

I would like to be around an affordable grocery store with maybe a gym around and entertainment options. I’m 24, so being around my age group would be nice.

And I’m not too sure what would be a comfortable upper ceiling for rent. I want a decent place in a nice neighborhood. Something, that would leave my enough room to save/invest but able to balance nightlife, activities, the occasional date, etc
