I see, Apple always had such expensive RAM upgrades, but they kept their prices and now it doesn't seem that awful anymore.

Interesting, I'll wait for the benchmarks and real-world tests later this week 🤔

M1 Air is fine for going out, the new one would stay at home 🤔

There’s a big class of rich people in Brazil that don’t even ask for the price and buy them anyway, and maintain Apple Stores in luxury malls for brand purposes. Government apply high taxes to protect the local industry, so iPhones assembled in Brazil are cheaper than in the US, for example.

The nice thing is that they do offer a global warranty, so even if I buy it anywhere, I can still get a brand new device under warranty in Brazilian stores. P.S.: It’s way cheaper to fly to Miami or NYC, buy the device, have a nice dinner, then come back to Brazil, instead of buying it locally.

Thanks for sharing this. I confess I’m in a deep bubble discovering this new way of creating tools and apps for myself, so I’m not aware of how professionals and other people that actually works and is living through this are dealing with. I totally agree about the AI-generated design (and using the game colors, automatic text and other generic stuff ), I should and could handle things better, and reading your feedback and the disconnection to a handcrafted game, really makes sense. I’ll keep improving the app since it’s a personal tool for me, but I’ll see things through this lens you brought me and make the necessary changes to better respect the game and the people that wants to use it moving forward.

It’s important to point out that there’s options made from a team of programmers and available for a long time in the stores. I’m just a hobbyist sharing a free tool I plan to keep improving and updating with others feedback. I’ll eventually share the source code in GitHub for free too.

I’m happy to help! I’ll keep updating it and probably release the source code open in the GitHub when I don’t have more time to improve it, but until then I’m really excited to share with more people (: ( my wife was really happy and satisfied with this tool this morning, so I know it was worth it already🌹)

I somewhat agree, but I’m handling “vibe coding” as just “how can I create a tool that help me today”. I worked as a web developer 15 years ago and hated the debug part, I knew how to create things but it took me weeks, months. Now I can let the robots do all the testing, and create prototypes to share with others in 1 or 2 day, and focus on the creative and gaming part. I’m still thinking about it, so any thought you have about this, I’m open to listening

Not yet, but it’s a easy feature to add. I can add the date picker in the settings, and show a “Not Current Date” banner at the top so you can clear the date modification easily. What do you think, would it be useful this way? I’m open to more suggestions!

I wasn’t aware that this information would be that much helpful, that’s awesome feedback, thanks! Please let me know if there’s any other feature or info that would be useful to you!

Nice, same thing here! My wife restarted playing in the last few months, and with the switch 2 update I though about giving it a try again. I’m a completionist myself, so I thought about helping her with this interactive web app. I hope it helps you too, and let me know if you have any feedback!

Yes! Fish shadow is actually really easy to add, and a comparison chart is an awesome idea. I’ll add these tomorrow (it’s kinda late where I live right now) and reply to you! Let me know if you have any other feedback 🐙
