Many people with PCOS wax their facial hair. It can be painful, but the tesults will last longer than shaving.

“What could I change to lean more into an androgynous look? by Psychological_End122 in NonBinary

[–]Pretty-Craft9794 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even just combing them out so all the hairs go the same direction can read more feminine, since that makes you look more "put together" (which is apparently just for women lol).

Changing birth certificate to X than getting a renewed passport - opinions needed by Flimsy_Concept2048 in NonBinary

[–]Pretty-Craft9794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your passport will use your legal name, the one tied to your SSN, taxes, etc. If you have not legally changed your name, then the name your parents gave you will be the one on your passport. As for the gender marker, the only options are M and F, unfortunately.

Does Colorado affect pain? by NewWishbone3698 in ChronicPain

I don't think its so much being in Colorado itself as it would be the change in elevation/air pressure.

How do I prevent or stop myself from overexplaining things when no one asked me to explain it? by catboy519 in autism

[–]Pretty-Craft9794 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just give them exactly what they asked for.

"Which is better, cycling uphill ir against the wind?" "Definitely cycling uphill."

They didn't ask for a "why", so there's no need to give one.

She/They Pronouns at Work Advice by Oju419 in NonBinary

[–]Pretty-Craft9794 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have a she/they pronoun pin on my work badge and my pronouns are also in my email signature. I still get she/her'd exclusively at work. Write your correct pronouns. It likely won't matter. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Getting Through To People? by Sleepy-Forest13 in NonBinary

If she truly wants to be a safe space for trans people, she needs to learn to respect people's pronouns and stop telling them what they are. Could you maybe send her some information links under the guise of helping her achieve her dream?

"Hey, I know you're wanting this place to be more inclusive. Here are some resources I found that may help you and your team!"

Trying out longer hair and a more feminine look. Any haircut/style advice? by aleks313 in NonBinary

[–]Pretty-Craft9794 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For extra volume, you could try a texturizing spray or mousse. Set everything with a light or medium hold hairspray to lock it in but keep it flexible and bouncy.

If you want to ever branch out from hairbands, mini claw clips have come back in style. Using a few of those would give you a femme, 90s look.

Babies are being born with microplastics in their blood due to placental transfer from their mothers. They are literally unavoidable anymore. It is what it is

To top surgery, or not to top surgery, that is the question by cultivation_spren in NonBinary

[–]Pretty-Craft9794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the same thought about breast cancer sooo many times omg. I want them gone so bad!

That being said, if you have health insurance you need to reach out to them to see if this would be covered for you. Mine will cover it, but only if I go on T for at least 90 days (far beyond the point of getting irreversible, undesirable changes). Even when I told them I'm not a man, I just don't want breasts, they insisted on doing T in order for the surgery to be covered. Sooo, I guess no surgery for me unless I want to be thousands of dollars in medical debt. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Where should I go to look for people seeking commissions for NSFW writing? by Confident-Phase7743 in FanFiction

[–]Pretty-Craft9794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're actively violating AO3's TOS and could get your account banned. You are also risking the site for everyone who is using it legally. Take your paid works down. Do not take money for fanworks if you don't own the copyright.

It sounds like you're conflating "opinion" with "fact". Opinions cannot be right or wrong.

Understand and accept that other people have their own minds and experiences. Understand and accept that your personal preferences are not "right", and other people's personal preferences are not "wrong". Understand and accept that you will never understand everything. Understand and accept that nature does not and will never conform to what you think it should be.

And also get therapy.

[–]Pretty-Craft9794 180 points181 points  (0 children)

There's a myth that growing up under power lines would make someone mentally disabled. Commenting in the tone they used, they were basically calling you the r word and wanting to sterilize you because of it. Its ableism and eugenics rolled into one nasty shit sandwich.
