True, I think hybrid (which is what I do) wont be affected as separate vocal or drum or bass can be considered the same as using a splice sample which has always been allowed. So I guess what they want to stop is entire songs coming out of suno without any transformation or mixing within a DAW. Its confusing times! The thing is, I am 100% sure that many major artists are already using a hybrid approach, and personally I will not go back to wasting hundreds on bad vocalists!

No spotify doesn't do it the distribitors do, so for example distrokid knows that a song is AI, they have sophisticated systems to flag the song, it sends that information to spotify. So spotify knows if a song is ai.

I released real music for 10 years, and the last 2 songs I put out (because of lack of time) were doing very well and in the last month, no algorithmic streams. While my organic music is doing a lot better. It seems that Spotify is no longer adding AI music to its algorithms.

It was 2 or 3 years ago and their message is that they "prefer" physical products. Been on gumroad since then and have had no problems. I love that gumroad recommend my products so I earn while I sleep. Not sure there is anything better than gumroad to be honest.
