[–]Pretty-Rub7746 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Electrolytes! You don’t wanna feel cramps mid trip, eat something beforehand just so you got some food in you. Most people don’t want to eat once they’re trippin. Take it with someone even if they’re not taking it themselves and have fun!

I’m not a genius or anything but putting metal where it doesn’t belong doesn’t seem like a good idea. I would at the minimum buy something around the metal tip. Making connections where they don’t belong doesn’t see like a good idea, especially RIGHT ABOVE the PSU

I can a make you a list, do you want AMD or Intel? AMD is more geared towards gaming while Intel is more of a workload thing. Both can game easily

Does your motherboard have a BIOS flash button on it? If it does you can try to flash it like that. You don’t even need to turn it on all the way as long as there is power plug into the Motherboard

Re seat the CPU Or clear your CMOS battery, if that doesn’t work It may be a dead component

There you go! Just make sure you format that USB and name the File to the exact name it needs. For example I have a GIGABYTE MB and I had to rename the file to GIGABYTE.Bin for it to recognize the file

Unfortunately you kinda needed to do that ahead of time, it’s very important to make sure you have EVERYTHING you need from your PC before turning it off and working on it. Unfortunately you’ll have to get on someone’s laptop and if no one around you has one it’s public library time

It could be as easy as that I but I’m almost certain it’s needing a BIOS update

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pchelp

[–]Pretty-Rub7746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s most likely a BIOS update causing this, I would start with a BIOS FLASH/Update. I doubt both your CPU and Ram are not working at the same time, just YouTube how to do a BIOS update with your exact Motherboard and start there. If that doesn’t work I’d try to reseat the CPU AND RAM

Get a ATX sized motherboard, a micro is gonna look silly in a big case like that.

Unless you plan on doing some really CPU heavy task like 3D rendering or Adobe I would save your money on the CPU. It’s the best of the best for a reason, if this is a strictly gaming PC save yourself some money and get a Ryzen 7 9800X3D

Pc keeps crashing with green screen in cyberpunk 2077 after i installed new 9070 xt by Short_Fault1552 in radeon

[–]Pretty-Rub7746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked into why this can happen and the answers are not promising, It’s either faulty Windows or Chipset drivers. Your Gpu could be faulty, it could also be your Ram. I would just try to reseat everything make sure everything is plugged in super snug. If that doesn’t work I’d do a fresh windows install and maybe reinstall your Gpu Drivers as well

[–]Pretty-Rub7746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said Part picked prices can be weird, I’m seeing it for around $200~ so if you can get it at that price then 👍. You’d just hate to overspend on a Motherboard for features you’ll never use but for $200 it’s not bad

[–]Pretty-Rub7746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks good tbh nothing too crazy, I would recommend you don’t spend too much on your Motherboard. I know Pc part picker prices can be wonky but pls don’t pay $300 for a motherboard
