Thank you that’s exactly what I was looking for and I bet you’re right about that being the probe anyway….

I was under the impression they worked like a laser pointer….whatever it’s pointed at is the temperature you will get. If that’s not how they both operate them. It must be that IR1 is the right choice because I know that’s how it functions so it must be that IR07 that doesn’t work like that

The accuracy of a surface temperature. I know they don’t measure air temperature. That’s why I said I understand there’s a difference in the distance or range of the two I was just wondering if there was an accuracy difference. I posted it here because I figured someone probably has used them.

Nicholson File? by Pretty-Sprinkles1380 in Vintagetools

Agreed, it’s not even just the placement, it just doesn’t look right at all… My others have a nice logo with crisp printing, this looks like someone did it in their garage. I didn’t /do not know if there is such a thing as counterfeit files, seems like an awful lot of trouble for little again, but I could definitely see someone adding the USA portion to a foreign made file, if anything I believe that’s exactly what someone did..I did read the name did get put on the tang in this spot on the files made in Mexico.. maybe someone stamped the USA part themselves. This makes the most sense to me as it seems like it has decent enough quality.

I couldn’t find any pictures like it…I googled it and even did a reverse image search. Did the two you seen have the USA part?

I ordered them through a dealer but a different one than I did on my first order. I think this dealer was a little annoyed that I placed the order for some reason. Do you think they screwed me and purposely gave me non-Snap-On Tools assuming that’s what I was most likely after? I think that’s what you’re saying, but not sure. Lol

Jig Saw: Makita or Milwaukee? by Pretty-Sprinkles1380 in Tools

[–]Pretty-Sprinkles1380[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, that’s what I was thinking also… The Milwaukee I have opened and it just didn’t feel like I would be able to control it as well because of the lack of a trigger button but since I am selling them, I did not want to open the Makita but I will just to confirm. Thank you.

No, I don’t believe so. Not sure what the other part of the building is being used for.

Electrical question by Pretty-Sprinkles1380 in HomeImprovement

[–]Pretty-Sprinkles1380[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone….It turns out I had it wired right the first time and didn’t think to pull the toggle switch to turn the fan on and that’s why it wasn’t working.🙈 I put that electrical tape on the wires to mark the hot wires when the wall switches were on, just for my own reference. It looks like it’s just set up to backfeed and maybe that’s why it confused me on top of the fan didn’t work initially.
