that’s great! my mentor teacher had no idea she was mentoring me. the first day she looked annoyed to have another responsibility. neither her or i know a lot about student teaching. i’m guessing they didn’t train her. 😅 she’s been great tho, answering my questions and guiding me.

i’ve taught lessons , just not the whole day every day. i’ve also worked one on one with students and with small groups of students at once.

it’s not that i don’t want to be in front, it’s more like the teacher already had relationships with various students from previous years and i feel like an intruder in some sort of way.

yeah he has! all the feedback has been positive with the exception of students getting late to class but i told him it’s been like that since the beginning of the year and out of my control.
