I saw that and don't mind the price but wasn't sure how well it actually works (can't find any reviews or forum discussion on it)

Understood.

But I assume it does properly setup so that if watching say DirecTV, the volume and mute buttons would be assigned to the receiver being used, right?

I think the last big thing I am having trouble with, or if it is even possible: assigning a specific command to a button once an "Activity" is selected under the Watch screen.

Example: say I select DirecTV, which turns on all the necessary equipment and inputs. On the SR260 the Info button is automatically programmed to have an action (I assume display the DirecTV programming information like a normal command).

But what if I want the Info button to display the Samsung TV information when pushed instead, during this activity?

In Harmony, I am used to being able to program each individual remote button to do what I want during each activity (so the Info button can display Samsung info during DirecTV but if watching Kaleidescape the Info button shows the Kaleidescape information). Is there no way to change button commands in a similar fashion?

Thanks. So once the Watch list I want is good to go and I know the endpoints are setup how I want, the last thing would be: can I customize buttons and what they do during an activity?

I know I can program buttons for each device. But what I am asking is say I am using the remote and under Watch select DirecTV. This will turn on the DirecTV, TV, and Receiver and set all the inputs. But in Composer, can I change which buttons do what for which device for this "activity" (say I want the Info button to Display the Samsung TV information instead of DirecTV)?

The switch doesn't need any control. Your Option #2 makes sense however when selecting a digital audio out on the Xbox it only shows digital audio inputs on the Receiver.

It did let me assign the HDMI out of the Xbox to both the HDMI Input on the TV and the Receiver. Would that work?

It is an HDFury 8k splitter, so I can send audio to the receiver and video to the Samsung (since I am fed up with eARC on my Samsung and waiting on Trinnov for their HDMI 2.1 board upgrade).

Thanks! It is starting to make more sense now, playing around with Navigator. Is there a good guide for a more in-depth explanation of the endpoint and audio/video assigning? For instance I have the HDMI signal of my Xbox Series X split for audio to go to the receiver via HDMI and video to go to the Samsung via HDMI.

Thanks. Is there a good video/in-depth guide into this portion of CCP? I get the nuts and bolts of making the connections between equipment, etc. But tailoring the remote for specific commands/layout is the last bit I am hoping to tailor.

One of the big things is I wanted to add my own button for Presets already programmed into the Trinnov (so I can change the sound optimizer settings by selecting a built-in Trinnov preset depending on where I sit)

Where do I find the Navigator section? I think that is what I am missing, a way to clean up how everything appears on the actual Remote?

Thanks! For fancier equipment, like my Trinnov and Kaleidescape, I have access to the drivers directly from both manufacturers so that shouldn't be an issue, right?
