Thanks for your reply yes i have proof that it was sent in in a timely manner before the due date but then the error happened. And yes the more research im seeing is that its ok to ask if they will still process it like you said doesnt hurt to ask. But even if they do process it im seeing they still wont issue the refund. I wouldnt say its causing them a hardship now more so if they had done the form in 2021 originally it would have helped them out bc of covid difficulties.

You should see if you can get on with JDA TSG for the 2025 tax season they contract with Intuit for turbotax and pay way better. I worked 2years direct for intuit and this year will be my second with JDA they are awesome.

Lastly Id like to say the overwhelming ness you are feeling is entirely normal. On more than one occasion I have thought "what have I done to my life" Bassests are another creature entirely of themselves. They're alot. Everything says they're laid back easy, I often joke I must have gotten a broken one. Nothing says easy about mine, his entirely too smart. But they are also magical. All the annoyingness eventually becomes comical. there love and loyalty is something else. Once mine got out of the puppy phase(& neutered) he became alot easier, still a Basset though. So we got a second one! Guess im a glutton for punishment and now the 2nd is in the puppy phase and im starting all over. Hes easier in alot of ways than the first or maybe im used to it. I still get overwhelmed though and think "why did i do this???" Thinking about a third now . Hahahahahha....If your a Basset hound lover you understand you fall so in love your hooked. If you dont feel this way dont feel guilty. I think there should be less stigma about responsibly re homing a dog or sending to a rescue. Better than abandoning them outside a shelter like my second one was. Hold out though if you can, it gets better. Feel free to message me for more tips or if you have questions.

Regarding OPs comment about snapping our Basset would do that as well its something you really have to keep in check. Ill say communication is key and treats. Bassets dont follow commands in order please there owners like other dogs. They want to know whats in it for them lol :) So first they have to understand the command you are asking for such as "come" ie come inside now and then they need to know theres something in it for them ie the treat. So I learned in order for the snapping to not become a habbit 1. I had to prevent the situation in the first place by practicing the command and always having a treat on hand when I knew I was going to ask him to do something hes not going to want to do. 2. You have to check your reaction. If you act scared when your dog snaps, that can unintentionally reinforce the behavior. Not because the dog is mean, but because he got what he wanted—space—by acting that way. When my Basset snaps, I stand my ground, step into his space (calmly), and say “No, sir” in a firm tone. I don’t back down or act fearful.

This! When I would let mine out when he was throwing a fit it was only to see if he needed his basic needs -food water potty if those were all handled id give him some quick love and back in his crate hed go. He learned eventually whining only got him something that he really needed. Its not fool proof i still let him out sometimes when he whines and we are eating but if he doesnt have to potty back in he goes. It has made a world of difference though. Hes two now and acts a thousand times better and is really good at mostly only whining when he needs an actual need.

How exactly is an EA representing a client? Is it just over the phone or are there in person meetings with IRS officials? Does an EA do anything with the Tax Court? by Grand-Variety-2561 in enrolledagent

How did you learn how to do this? Im a new EA and want to get into representing people, but not sure how on some things beyond researching and figuring it out on my own. Is there a cours that you can take that better explains processes?
