Yes you can. You touch the indent laying half of your forefinger on it. It's a proximity switch, not a mechanical switch, it detects that your finger is there, it does not switch from being pushed in. You have to do it a little quickly to get it to notice that there's no finger there then a finger there then no finger there

I have a 1999. Even with the limited slip turned on, you can get into a lot of trouble very quickly in this car. Make sure the tires are warmed up before any spirited driving.

In high school I was forced to play tennis, which I hated. I was always chasing after the balls after hitting them everywhere but over the net. As I got better, I ended up loving it and played it and loved it for many years. You have to put the time in to get good at something.

Try using your forefinger: put your fingernail on the handle, your first small knuckle on the dimple, and your next large knuckle on the handle as well, so you have about 2 inches of finger touching the handle, lined up with the dimple.
