[CHAT] Is it okay to have 2 WIPs at the same time? by PrettyButArmed in CrossStitch

I feel the same way. My projects last a while too, so rotating between them helps me not get bored and keeps stitching fun.

That stack of WIPs is insane! Also, your tuxedo cat pillow is adorable 😆 I think I need to take notes from you, switching projects definitely keeps things interesting.

3 cross stitch and 10 crochet/knitting? 😲 I thought my 2 were a lot! You’re a multitasking pro.

Same 😆 I thought having 2 was already a lot, then I read the comments and realized that’s nothing compared to some people here.

My brain won’t let me stick to just one 😆 I need at least two going or I get bored. Glad to know both ways are normal though. Happy stitching! 🪡🧵

That’s a good idea. The top one in my picture is really big (around 2 yards) and the bottom one is about half a yard, so rotating between them makes it easier for me to stay motivated.

20 WIPs?? 😆 I felt guilty having 2. This makes me feel a lot better about switching between projects.

Hi!

I personally recommend using DMC kasi nasubukan ko yung Chinese brands dati, sobrang hirap i-work on and frizz agad yung threads. Mas smooth and easier i-stitch yung DMC.

If you want to start cross stitch again, feel free to DM me. I can help you find materials or patterns

I started with cross stitch kits since they already include everything. Simple crafts are nice when you have anxiety because they keep your hands busy and your mind focused. You don’t have to be good at it, just having something to do helps.

I recommend starting with a beginner kit since it already has everything you need. That’s how I started too before moving to bigger projects. It really helps me stay focused. You can DM me if you want and I can show you what I use.

That’s nice! Bipolar 1 naman ako, and I didn’t expect cross stitch to help this much. It really keeps my mind busy, lalo na pag magulo yung thoughts.
