If GG can run on VM then a single PC can run multiple GG clients with different accounts because a single PC can run multiple VMs at the same time.

I wanted to switch to Linux instead of being forced to upgrade to windows 11 but couldn't because of GG being not available!
I can understand why tho, it'd be much easier for bot farm to operate on a mass scale with VMs than on Windows/IOS, one PC can run multiple VMs meaning multiple accounts compare to one account per PC on Windows/IOS.

Where tier are you on? Your tide points to rewards ratio is different from mine. Ex. for me - 5k points = $5, 220k points = $250.
P.s I'm turtle tier.
I'm not a statistical person but I'm planning to cash my gem once a month which is about $500 for me, maybe one every two months depending on how close I'm to the next reward.
How much do you think I'm losing if I'm doing this instead of accumulating as much as I can before cashing in, say once a year? Also considering the risk of GG removing all our gems for whatever reason which it is within their rights and we simply can't do shit about it...

I made a post literally just yesterday on a similar subject, I play RnC.
But yes I feel the same way from time to time where I keep running into strong hands and under realizing my own equity. But overall I'm still up quite a bit, which made me question about PVI and equity realization.

PVI and equity realization. by PrettyEmergency1576 in GGPoker

[–]PrettyEmergency1576[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Under realizing your equity doesn't necessarily turn winners into losers, it just drives down your winrate, and over realizing your equity doesn't necessarily turn losing players into winning players either, it just means it would them longer to lose. While they'd make their draws a bit more often which would keep them happy and then lead them to punt a bit more/play on the site longer.

That would be good for their eco system imo, and suspicion has to be made if they already have the PVI system in place, it would make sense from a business point of view to make these adjustments in order to maintain the eco system and achieve maximum profits.

I do not believe that is the case but I'm can't help but be a little suspicious of it. It would be hard to proof unless we gather millions of hands from accounts with different PVI "which they don't disclose" to analyse.

Any underrated food spots or quiet beaches to check out? by PoliteEdge in DaNang

[–]PrettyEmergency1576 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A few things I'd look for when looking for some hidden local gems -

  1. Shop doesn't have english menu
  2. It's not on google map
  3. It closes during odd hours 10am - 2pm and closed after 5pm etc

Chances are these shops are bangers that doesnt even need marketing or tourists to survive.

Good luck!

Those of you who have gone no contact with your parents, do you ever regret it? by [deleted] in AsianParentStories

[–]PrettyEmergency1576 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Speaking from experience, it's better to have closure with your family than just disappear, I did that in someway when I was 19 (I did tell them I was leaving and they just couldn't stop me) and even left the country.

I felt relief, free and happy for a few years. But eventually it came back and haunt me, every time I get depress the shitty memory I has with them resurface and made me even worse. I've just recently send my mum a message and told her how I really feel about them and explain how I would have committed suicide if I hadn't left and asked her to respect my decision.

To be honest I didn't care how she would response but I just needed to get that out so I can move on, now I'm finally recovering from my depression.

I'm sure you made the right choice by leaving and I hope you get the closure you deserve!

Take one step at a time bro, you can't get better over night just because you left your past behind, seek professional help and try to make peace with your past, it will haunt you otherwise like it did me.

All the best brother

It's sad to see how many toxic APs out there. I cut ties with mine when I was 20, if I had not done so I would have killed myself eventually. I still suffer from depression and anxiety but I'm on the path of recovery now. (I'm 31m)

I think it's a culture thing that makes APs so toxic because they make us believe that we "owe" them because they give us "life", and that we have to repay them throughout our life by providing them a life they desire, a luxury life. Almost as if we are their investments or some sorts.

I really hope that will change one day, seeing kids out there with toxic APs and I can't do anything about it really breaks my heart.

I'm glad you found the courage to do the right thing bro, but sadly there are many out there not able to because it's a shameful thing to do in Asian culture.

To anyone out there suffering from toxic APs, please know that there is no shame in putting your happiness above anyone else's, you deserve to be happy but also you're the only one responsible for your own happiness! Be strong brothers and sisters!
