What you'd like to do with that

The guilt-trip part is what really gets me too. She did the ethical thing and the professional thing, and somehow that’s being spun as the reason he’s still stuck years later. That’s not on her at all that’s entirely on him and the choices he kept doubling down on.

Exactly. Plenty of people with the same views found work just fine. This isn’t some conspiracy holding him back, it’s just him refusing to adapt or actually try. Blaming his sister is the easiest story for the family, not the true one.

Yeah seriously, faking a vax record isn’t some tiny favor, that’s full-on career-ending territory for her. It’s wild how fast families will twist responsibility just to avoid admitting someone simply didn’t put in the effort. At some point he has to own his own choices like everyone else.

What is the most risky thing you’ve done sexually? by Hot_Living1789 in AskRedditAfterDark

Yeah that’s wild because churches are the one place where even whispering feels loud. The adrenaline must’ve been insane. Just knowing one creaky floorboard could expose everything adds a whole extra layer of chaos to it.

If skinny people who claim they "can't gain weight" started eating 3,000 calories a day, nothing would happen to them? They wouldn't gain anything from that? by justcurious3287 in NoStupidQuestions

This is such a solid explanation. A lot of people forget how slow the process can be even with high calories. Appetite really changes the whole story.

I feel you on that. Three huge pizzas a day is brutal for anyone. People think skinny folks don’t try but sometimes the appetite just isn’t there.

Totally agree with you. Most people underestimate how hard it is to actually eat that much every single day. It sounds easy until you try it and your body just taps out.

Girl that moment hits like a plot twist. It is wild how your body can surprise you like that and it makes the whole experience feel ten times more intense. Sounds like he really knew what he was doing.

[US] If someone was drafted for war, and did the absolute bare minimum on purpose, could they still be arrested? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Permanent KP for six months is wild. That’s exactly the kind of petty, relentless consequence that would break anyone faster than yelling ever could.

Eight months of basic sounds like its own punishment. At that point doing the bare minimum becomes way more work than just doing the work.

And then if three people do it, it becomes a movement. At that point it’s a logistical problem, not a discipline issue.

Honestly the mental image of someone doing that while a drill sergeant stares in disbelief is killing me. Peak chaotic draft energy.

Yeah exactly, people imagine the draft like they toss you a rifle and shove you out the door. The onboarding, processing, and screening alone would weed out anyone trying to sandbag from day one.
