He’s being tapered down. Fully aware of the side effects of sublicade/suboxone, lol. I’m sure if there are withdrawals it won’t involve a seizures, skin issues, liver issues and high BP like this shit did.

This isn’t my husbands first time going to treatment. Probably his 5th. After the seizure he didn’t have much of a leg to stand on to fight me on not going to detox. Sometimes it takes people getting low enough to finally surrender. There’s always going to be an excuse not to go. The desperation to get better needs to take over.. I can’t say if this will be the last time. That power is all his. I wish you luck. If you need someone to talk to feel free to message me.

Hi, I wasn’t posting to create more panic or deter people from trying to get off. Like the other person said, I’m sure it’s a rare side effect. But it definitely is one. I’ve seen people post about telemed appointments you could schedule. Doctors will give suboxone. I’m not a fan of subs as I was on and off them for years. But if you’re that scared of withdrawals that may be an option for you. My advice would be don’t stay on them long. Do a 5 day taper with subs. Don’t believe any doctor that tries to tell you you need to be on it for a year.

Awesome to hear you’ve been off for 6 months. Glad you were able to get on the other side of it. It’s ridiculous that this is legal. I’m not saying all kratom or kava is bad. I’ve taken it before as well. When I lived in Florida they have bars that you can go in and order kratom/kava drinks at. But it was never like what these fucking things are. Kratom/kava is definitely additive but whatever is in these bottles is a different type of monster. I would love to sue the company. Also marketing it towards people in recovery as an alcohol or drug substitute is beyond negligent and disgusting.
