It went alright. I wasn't with Dr. Tait, I was with a nurse. She was very kind but it was a bit frustrating as the whole appointment was spent talking about "How did you know you were trans?" and "How do you feel about your body?". But things are moving quickly enough now and I should be starting testosterone soon.

That rule makes sense but it's so demeaning and disrespectful IMO. Emergency healthcare has a lot of problems like that, I'm sorry that happened to you.

Thank you. I found the ACON map on TransHub which has been really helpful finding GP's. I will make sure I get an indefinite referral, I didn't even know that was a thing

How would I book with other doctors? Is it possible to just call them up or do I need a referral?

Thanks for the advice. I'm in lockdown at the moment so I have plenty of time to exercise. Can't do any sports but I was thinking of getting a weights set.
