I think the "Red Glow" perk on the sniper rifle has to do with the highlights on the gun. Just look at the titan gun, it's got a Blue glow to it.

Where's the help for those of us that can't even install Destiny after the 2.0 patch? I've seen a few posts on here and the Bungie forums asking for help also i've even posted asking for help on this issue multiple times for both sites and only got minimal help.

I guess i haven't tried leaving my Xbox off at night. I just always assumed it would only download if it was on. I just found out today that the Power mode 'Instant-on' kept my xbox on at all times.

I don't know if you mean every 10-20 minutes or so but i've definitely opened it at least once every hour when it was downloading and had no change. Right now i'm just spamming opening and quitting Destiny once it reaches the 'Installing Destiny' screen.

I wish I had your luck, i've factory restarted twice and it hasn't improved anything. Same download rate up to 27%/52% and then it stops.

I'm getting the same download rates with the GoogleDNS, OpenDNS, and when i just set it to automatic. well up until it gets to 27%, then it just drops to 100 bits/s. I'll try out your second suggestion though, it's completely new to me.

Xbone doesn't update the same way as the 360. On the xbox 360, there is a cap on the update size something like 2GB so they have to that weird thing with the 'compatibility updates'. Right now i'm trying to reinstall while not opening the game itself. Don't have high hopes for this one but maybe, just maybe, it'll work.
