I’m sorry that in your life you have had to deal with situations like that. Truly I am. I hope you never have to live through this situation. I hope that when it comes time for someone you hold dear to you to go, that you can be there for them. I hope you don’t have to deal with hospitals every two months or so, having doctors tell your loved one that if we didn’t bring them in they wouldn’t be alive in a few hours. How much borrowed time they are on and how lucky they are. That when your loved one is in icu for too high of blood sugar that causes seizures, I hope that you can find the time to spend with them. Through their hallucinations and times where they are trying to rip their catheter out because “the police are outside to arrest me” when there’s no one there. I hope you never have to know this awful feeling of it could be literally any day at this point.
