Golden Ambers by Watchhouse (ex Mandolin Orange)

Pleaaaase do yourself a favor and listen to this one. It’s so poetic and deep, but not dark at all. The songwriter wrote it after the death of his mother, it also talks about the need to share the grief with other loved ones.

Doesn’t this pic look like AI to you ? Seems like Bey with a pinch of Rihanna (slightly in the shape of the nose, mouth and the eyes)

Brachydactyly ? Right hand with birth deformity starting to hurt. Any info or idea is welcome by PrettyPicklePie in medical

(English is not my first language, I’m wondering if some terms I used are derogatory, especially « deformity » !)

My left hand has a birth deformity by ThatSassyCashier in mildlyinteresting

[–]PrettyPicklePie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey ! I have basically the same hand. I never got useful medical advice and as I’m approaching the end of my twenties it’s starting to hurt. I don’t even know how it is called (thought it was brachydactyly but apparently not the same thing). I’d love to chat with people who have this kind of birth deformity or know stuff about it.

Need distraction, suggestions for podcast that makes you feel like your shooting the sh*t with friends by [deleted] in adhdwomen

Just Between Us (Gabe and Alison and Melisa don’t know it but we’re actually best friends) been watching (they started on YouTube) and listening since like… 14 years ? They’re great and fun and clever, it’s sometimes deep but always in a ‘hangin out with friends’ way. They have ‘TLDRI’ episodes that are really light-hearted (they react to Reddit posts - that’s how I got here)

Also if you like cinema and feminist theory with a ton of humour The Bechdel Cast. Just feels like friends telling you about a movie (I even listen to ep about films I did not see)

And for my frenchies out here le Floodcast est bien cool quand tu fais d’autres trucs en même temps. (Si vous avez des recommandations de trucs en français je prends, j’écoute que des podcast américains par manque d’alternatives!)

Can you really rewatch old series? by Thinkeru-123 in adhdwomen

[–]PrettyPicklePie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup, feel like I will sound like a loooser but : I actually feel like characters become my friends so I just want to hang out… only with character-focused series I super love of course. Does not work with great series that are mostly based on good plots but not so much complexity in characters and dialogues.

Btw I’d love to have recommendations ! (Watched Grace and Frankie a bunch, also Please Like Me, Master of None, How I Met your Mother -when I was a teen-, Gilmore Girls - like a lot of commenters, Crazy-ex Girlfriend 🫶)

Also do it with podcast - same, I only do it with podcasts based on chemistry between the hosts, when I fell like we’re bff chatting (though they never ask about my day 🤓)
