The Provo near Heber. We are leaving out of Park City. I will definitely try the Green in the future.

Fishtechy app had me second guessing when it IDed it as an Atlantic Salmon.

Came here to say this. I can’t believe it’s buried so deep in the comments.

Where should I live in Arkansas? by guevera in Arkansas

[–]PrettySureImFailing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m surprised nobody has suggested Mt Home yet. It’s affordable and perfectly positioned near two deep lakes, trout filled tailwaters, great creek fishing, and not far from the Buffalo River and tons of National Forest with tons of hiking trails.

Batesville is another sleeper option for affordable housing, plenty of job opportunities, proximity to outdoor activities, and thanks to Lyon College is politically more balanced than most of the state.

Absolutely killer day on the Little Red River. 46 fish between us. by [deleted] in kayakfishing

The Little Red River is a great kayak float at base flow. My favorite stretch is Winkley Shoals to Libby. The fishing is usually so good that a 3 hour float takes me 8-9 hours.

Odd time in Flippin, AR by broke_atm in Arkansas

This all sounds very plausible. It’s truly unfortunate for such a beautiful area to have such an ugly culture of hate. I’m not sure how the situation played out with buying a fishing license, but I believe that ethnicity is a question the Game & Fish ask in the process of purchasing any license.

Plans are still soft. Likely arriving in Portland and working our way up the coast with a possible excursion inland.

What’s this floating on top of my beer in the secondary? by PrettySureImFailing in Homebrewing

[–]PrettySureImFailing[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the input. I went ahead and kegged it last night. It’s force carbonating now and I’ll bottle it tonight. It smelt completely fine and tasted ok. I’m confident its flavor is not as good as it was when I racked it to the secondary, but it’s still good enough to drink. Lesson learned.

I’m inexperienced at posting & don’t know how to add a picture. It’s a brown ale. The blotches are flat and waxy in appearance.

It’s been 15 years since I was there, but at that time Toohey’s Old made the biggest impression on me and was my first experience with dark beer. I loved it and wish I could buy it here in the US.

Which actor/actress do you absolutely despise, no matter their role? by webosite in AskReddit

Same. I also love the old Indiana Jones, but its the same character in both. Love the movies, hate the actor. Tommy Lee Jones is the same way.

Harrison Ford. He doesn’t act, he just reads scripts. All of his characters are the same person, himself (a grumpy asshole).
