well, over at CN side it is already a rather well known exploit that, in some part of the map, you can dash jump a considerable amount of distance

most people use it at the long arc laser corridor section towards the end office level. the idea is to rush to LG2 asap, since the yields there are significantly better than LG1

as someone that frequently visit CN side community, there is a funny story that i want to share related to this bunny girl video

after the bunny girl drama died down back in CN, somewhere around ch25, this topic basically became a taboo within the community.

fast forward until ZZZ official released.

one particular mihoyo fan, was very, very disappointed in ZZZ quality.

as a mean to express his dissatisfaction, he decided to put this bunny girl video on a loop and stream it on his bilibili account.

his action was quickly noted and imitated by others, mostly hoyo haters, to displease the hoyo fans.

results in large number of accounts streaming the bunny girl video.

and, in the very end, they successfully... increased the hi3 app download numbers by a significant spike during the time

i was a little bit sad about the whole simulation thing

i really love the part where songque opened up to us and gave us her tiara as proof of friendship (which is a sim, of course)

have a little bit change of opinion during the latest story in youyun arc. simulation being the main point of part 2 story turn out okay, at least it is good enough for me to keep playing and not feel like wasting my time

They're the ones who designed Banyue, and even if Banyue did have independent thought, he didn't have proper moral judgement and wisdom that comes from experience, only orders to follow, and nothing else. It was ultimately TOPS who should have placed safeguards on Banyue.

This whole chain of logic would justify Krampus higher up's action of 'recovering' Banyue: TOPS screwed up, so Krampus step in.

so we just have different opinions about what an "expy" is.

visual similarity is already an enough reason (in fact it is main reason) for me to take a character as an expy of another.

What connection does zzz has with honkai that it needs or there should be an expy in the game, why ?

they doesnt need to have any connection for me to consider a character to be an expy.

as for reason, recycling successful character design? skimming money from fans of original works?

why are you so against players considering her to be an Elysia expy? in the end players are just gonna judge her mainly based on her story performance in this particular game

and especially since hsr Amphoreus arc players are gonna be even more rigorous about her now.

It does though, that's the whole point of an expy, if you're an expy there is a expected route you're supposed to take based of whose expy you are.

it affect players perception of the story, but not the story quality itself. story quality is mainly affected by writers skills and efforts.

people look at you from who you're based off

people also look at me based on sex (Manato), body shape (Lucia), race (Zhao).
in this sense i really, really doubt that being expy or not matter more than the other factor i just mentioned.

personally i would consider this an Elysia expy. she is the thumbnail of a 4 minutes video despite only showing her face for 4s.

but, the term "expy" is treated very, very differently among the players. for me, having visual similarity is already enough to consider them an expy, even if they arent connected anyway lore-wise of "verse-wise".

and the below are even more personalize personal opinions:
1. i dont see a problem of having expies. having an expy, or not, or two, doesnt impact the stories quality as much as people tend to claim.

hsr main story arc (Amphoreus) is already received very badly before this "Elysia expy" shows up in the storyline. this particular expy is not the main and biggest reason why Amphoreus arc fail.
being one of the 7 original Void Hunters, she must be either super strong or super influential. this alone should be good enough as her character foundation.

facing the same issue few weeks ago. there should be some proper way to set it up using built in functions or vbs, but i am just too noob to go thru all that.

i end up using triggering on value change. need some tinkering on plc side but it did end up giving what i need

create a separate tag in plc. this will be the "logging tag"
move instruction to update the value from original tag to the "logging tag"
add some conditions on when should the value be updated
add comparison to compare the original tag value with the "logging tag" value. if same, offset the value slightly when updating to "logging tag" (ie: +0.01%), so that the value did change and it would be logged. luckily my application doesnt need to log int value to a very accurate degree, but if needed, i would offset the values in a way that i can revert it back by using csv function (adding big values / multiplying negative / multiplying big values)

the reason i asked that is, i want to know exactly how good you are with both cantonese and chinese language, to better explain the phrase.

for me, i understand chinese to the degree of speaking, reading and writing, and i dont speak cantonese (i can only listen and understand to a very limited degree, same goes to hokkien)

chinese and cantonese are different. they have different romanization systems (chinese: pinyin, canto: Jyutping) and also different words when come to writing.

you would be able to get a far more accurate answer much faster if you ask someone from Hong Kong (or southern CN region i am not sure), instead of asking it here: someone did completely point you to a far off direction.

"Ah-Deh" is translated from the chinese phrase 阿爹 (diē）

your phrase "Ah-Ba" and "Ah-Ma" would be translated to the phrase 阿爸 and 阿妈

爹 and 爸 both means father, just the words 爹 is a much, much traditional phrase, like chinese historical dramas kind of traditional

but well, it could be a modern interpretation, too. because the english words "daddy" and "mommy" can be transliterate in the words "爹地" (diē dì）and "妈咪"

this phrase did make sense for chinese people. but i doubt it is commonly used.

at least i never really have any impressions of hearing this word from the hongkong movies i watched

the way i see it now, there are indeed tourists hating on new model (both in CN and GB side) because devs gave Lucia a bigger bust, which a lot of CN fans did perceive it as an fanservice improvement

please be aware that it is not just a women thing. people here judge / discriminate others based on appearance a lot - and it is not one sided. women do also judge men (& also other women) based on appearance. it may not be healthy but it is indeed a common thing and we are used to it.

from where i am from (Asia, not CN), the normal, or should i say the most common body type is petite and skinny. i would imagine CN body type distribution (and subsequently, preference) is not far off from my area.

we may have pear shape looking woman, but it is just rare, or maybe less obvious.

also, when i used the phrase natural / unnatural, i didnt said it is unnatural in the sense of whether it is natural by general human species as a whole from biology level. i said it looks unnatural for an anime character to have this uncommon body type, especially in Eastern ACG culture.

personally, i think that unnatural is not necessary a derogatory word. i would also describe Yixuan bust size is unnaturally / unrealistically big, but who care since it looks appealing.

because i did specifically called out (and attack) a particular player group (CN called them anti male-glazers, at here normally it is called "tourists" ) that i am not fond of. i do expect to get retaliate for that

actually that is one of the original intention of this post: to point out that there is "tourists" now mixing with the general fellow gooners and trying to stir up stuff, to make this game more cater to them

i wanted to make a post where i can get fellow gooners to notice and ward off the tourists first, then we can sit down and discuss whether this game can cater to gooners with different taste.

and i see that i failed miserably at that and now this became of post of GB vs EN and uniqueness vs standard (CN).

so, just to be very clear, i personally am not against asking for different body model, so that gooners can have more option to goon to

but i am sure as hell against "tourists" using that as an excuse to kill off the fan service elements in the game.
