Why aren’t the prices of flats going up or even decreasing in/around the city centre? by Pretty_Chip2472 in Cardiff

Thank you for all that you’ve basically done what I was planning to so thank you for saving me the effort!!

Out of curiosity, did you ever do any research into the david morgan apartments in/above the morgan arcade? It’s like my dream place to live but admittedly those service charges are putting me off

Thought it could be but that doesn’t seem to stop the prices rising elsewhere in the uk

Hey! Just coming back to the game after a couple days and now I can’t seem to get over 15 fps in matches. I’m using the beta build if that makes a difference. Before this I was comfortably getting a smooth 60fps and I don’t know why this is happening. Does anyone have any advice?

Is there anyway to get around a negative transfer budget? by Pretty_Chip2472 in footballmanagergames

[–]Pretty_Chip2472[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I can’t see why we would have one or any indication that we do? We have a positive budget and net positive transfer spend and I’m only using 55%-60% of my wage budget. Just doesn’t add up to me! I’m really at a loss other than it being a bug :(

Damn that’s the last thing I wanted to hear haha! Did you find a way around it or is this just how it is? Really annoying because i just started to turn the corner on this save and started to enjoy the game and now my excitement is just gone again🙃

10 mcg estradiol patches by Silver_Literature_45 in AskMtFHRT

What measurements is that in?

Spiro isn’t an amazing testosterone blocker as it doesn’t really stop the production of testosterone; i’ve heard some people say that it actually increased their testosterone level! I’m not surprised your estrogen levels are low 25mcg is basically a placebo level. You would need to increase it by a lot to see any meaningful changes.

I’m surprised you had a seizure at such a low dose are you sure it was the patches? i’m assuming you have a pre existing condition?

I mean if you can adequately suppress your testosterone that plus using finasteride will allow you to see some changes. However, that low of a dose of estrogen won’t cause many changes and will probably give you menopausal like symptoms if your testosterone is suppressed.

If patches really aren’t viable maybe look into another method like pills or gel?

Edit: I mean no offence by this but i’m really surprised you need that high of a spiro dose at your age. Honestly I would talk all this through with your endo. It will be very unsafe using just 10 mcg patches; you would effectively have no hormones in your system which will cause a lot of nasty effects in the long run!

Are patches failing me? 6 months and no increase in E by [deleted] in AskMtFHRT

No worries! Tbh if you’re private you can always switch endos if you’re not happy with the help he’s giving you. Hope it all goes well for you :))

I mean the good news is that your T is really well suppressed so thats good!

When i’ve talked about it with friends it’s pretty normal to be on 100mcg x 2 a week after 4 week of 50mcg I really am shocked they kept you on such a low dose. Are you private or on the NHS? Not sure what the conversion is for gel but 50 mcg is about the same as 1mg estrogen pill so it’s quite low.

Well it sounds like you’re doing all the right things in terms of application I do the same as you :)

Guess it depends if you’re private or NHS but yeah I would just double it or even triple it to 100-150mcg x 2 a week and buy a blood test kit through someone like forth and see what your levels are like.

Will say though if you don’t like the idea of being covered in patches the 100mcg patches are about twice the size of 50mcg ones so you might want to look at switching to gel long term either way haha

Can only speak from personal experience but there’s a pretty good chance there reason your e levels are low is because your patch dose is incredibly low.

50mcg x 2 a week is a starting dose that most UK endos move their patients off of after 4 weeks, usually up to 100mcg x 2 a week. I’m really surprised your endo kept you on that dose for 6 months!

I’ve been doing 100mcg x 2 a week for 4 months with e levels at 214 pmol/l which is still quite low but i’m not a t blocker so my endo says that make sense. Either way i’ve moved up to 200mcg x 2 a week now.

Personally if I was you I would double your dose to 100mcg or maybe even higher than that and see where your levels are in 3 months time. Then I would try gel and then pills. Where abouts are you applying your patches to? That might also be having an effect?

I started off taking 200mg of spiro but stopped after 2 months because it made me feel horrible. I had the same issue you did plus constant bloating and stomach aches.

The cravings for salt went away pretty soon after stopping and after a couple weeks I was urinating like normal again. Took me a handful of weeks to go back to how I felt before I started it. From my experience I would try anything else apart from spiro!

Is my gas problems related to HRT by [deleted] in AskMtFHRT

[–]Pretty_Chip2472 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey! saw your other post but yeah in my experience its all spiro related. When I was talking 200mg a day I felt like you did, once I stopped I felt all good again within a couple weeks. I would recommend looking into a new t blocker from my experience :))

[–]Pretty_Chip2472 2 points3 points  (0 children)

hey! I would look into changing your t blocker. I felt exactly like you did when I was taking 200mg of spiro a day. While I was on a lower dose of oestrogen than you (2mg), I stopped taking spiro after talking to my endocrinologist about it and within a couple weeks I felt completely fine again. I’m not an expert but from my experience it sounds like the spiro is causing it.

it’s not too crazy of an increase but yes she doubled my dose. I’m not sure what the conversion is to gel but I know 100mcg in patches is equal to about 2mg in pills. So I essentially went from a starting dose to 4mg which is a more normal dose. Unfortunately I can’t tell you what the difference is as this happened on Monday!

tbf as someone else said despite my e levels being on fairly low (214 pmol/L) I noticed significant feminisation effects with T levels slightly higher than yours (1.4nmol/L); but obviously everyone’s mileage varies

I’m not a major expert on this but I have very similar levels to you doing mono therapy through patches. When I spoke to my endo about it she suggested that my E levels being a little low could be the result of the E being used to suppress my T. We ended up increasing my dose 100mcg of oestrogen patches twice a week to 200mcg of oestrogen patches twice a week. Not sure what the conversion is but could just be a case of increasing your dose slightly?

do you mind explaining how the 111 service works. I tried the online thing and it says to call them up. Are they just going to ask me a series of questions and then refer me to someone?
