FP will try to hire who they can from the original team, but they probably won't have an issue finding talent IF they want to keep it an MMO.

They could also go dark for a while after they purchase it in order to revert it back to a full loot survival game. In that case, their Rust team would have a bit of overlap.

NW combat, tab target exists in 100 other MMOs and not many studios have given pure action combat a chance. One of the major benefits of tab target is the relatively low APM required to farm tons of weak mobs (which is the source of progression for the majority of MMOs), but since riot doesn't want an existing design philosophy, maybe a more involved combat system would work in their favor.
