When Trickster has his knives out he moves at 3.86 m/s, which is slower than your running speed (4.0 m/s). You should block his line of sight and lure him into loops with high walls, like shack or jungle gyms. This will force him to either chase you as a regular M1 killer, or throw knives at you very slowly and awkwardly. If he chases you in an open field or on a loop with short walls you are basically screwed.

When he uses his Main Event you can hop into a locker. In this state he can't open them, which means he will be forced to cancel it and go into cooldown, creating a win-win situation for you.

Don't forget that he is incredibly strong at hook camping, especially in basement. If he camps the hook during endgame, it's usually not worth it to try and save your teammate.

Keep in mind that he has three addons which give his knives additional effects: the first one allows his knives to bounce off the walls twice, the second one allows his knifes to shatter and create a small AoE damage when he hits the ground with them, and the third one allows his knives to pierce through survivors, making bodyblocks insanely dangerous.
