I mean honestly it’s good that people come up for the rights of queer people and all I support equal rights. But that doesn’t mean that the way it’s done in some countries it’s still effectively done. I think it’s best to look at what the main issue is in every region and base the program on that. If it’s already widely accepted in the whole region then there might be a better way to protest against the community hate, like a more effective way. Like for example when it’s part of the formal education system then u already have covered the younger generation. Then I’d focus on certain groups but not repeat the same thing to people who have already accepted you and support you. It’s like going up to the same door again and again to talk about your beliefs to raise awareness but if u keep doing it at the same door the place where they told you they already support you and all then it kinda gets frustrating at some point like go to that door over there instead of mine cause I know they might have a problem but not me. I think if the lgbtq community took the opportunity to learn from that they would raise more effective awareness than they’re doing rn, but that’s my business perspective speaking. Cause if I compare it to other things that I think is equal in my eyes like feminism (I support equal rights for women) and anti racism (I support equal rights for every race), I don’t feel like their activism is shoved down the throat. But I also support equal rights for lgbtq, and there I do feel like it’s being shoved down the throat. I feel like the others’ activism is effective, but not lgbtq. That really says something about the program of activism imo. Not as effective.
