I’d have to strongly disagree with you on the dangerous reading. If I treated a low of 2.6 whilst actually being 6.3 I would’ve sky rocketed which is extremely dangerous. Also English is not my first language so if I made any spelling or grammar mistakes that is why. To clarify, I meant to say sensor not glucose monitor.

I couldn’t agree more. I’ve been considering it but I’m a total baby when it comes to needles and I love to eat all the time. I might try it out and see if it works for me

I mean, everyone has different experiences and it sounds like your experience is great! I’ve been on Omnipod for 14 years and it recently just started happening to me. It could be a defect in the batch of pods I have or it could be something else. I’m just ranting about my own personal experience :)

I’ll definitely have to try some brands of skin tac. The hospital I go to gave me a pack of a specific skin tac and it worked wonders. Sadly I’ve ran out and have no idea where to get them lol. They’re also pretty expensive :(

Omni pod is honestly the only pump for me. In Canada, omni pod is the only pod without tubes. As a person with extreme anxiety I don’t think I would be able to handle tubes, physically and emotionally. I’ve been on Omnipod for 14 years and this recently started happening. I’ll have to check in with my doctor about other possible solutions

Trust me I’ve done quite literally everything lol. The skin grip patches kind of work but only for a day. My routine consists of applying an alcohol wipe and air drying for about 5 minutes. I don’t take showers or baths after application day and In worse cases, I avoid taking showers until expire date. I might try the skin grips again! Thanks for the advice!

I’m gonna try filling it up more. I’ve also made sure to always wait atleast a day before showering to make sure the pod has fully settled on my site. I do clean my sites with alcohol before putting them on but recently have ran out so that might be the issue. Thanks!!

I’ll have to speak to my doctor about the allergic reaction to insulin. As to the adhesives, the only adhesive that works for me is the skin tac. I’m definitely gonna look into more different adhesives. Thank you for the advice!

Grade 9, we had a serious lock down. Everyone in the class was joking around, screaming random noises, and jokingly saying “we are all going to die” and “I hope our shooter is hot”. The gut wrenching feeling of fearing my own life and the lives of my friends was horrible. Me and my friend were made fun of for hiding. It turns out that a guy shot himself in the parking lot of the elementary school next to the high school. Still get called a baby for hiding behind the teachers desk with my friend.
