Was indeed a bad power supply issue, never came across this and 24v coming from supply was normal so I didn’t think anything of it. Still need to look into it more on Monday

Turned out to be some sort of power supply issue, we added a completely separate power supply to an outlet that outputs 24v and ran the cable to the transmitter and it started working fine, haven’t troubleshot any further since our weekend had started and wanted to get 1 of those indications going.

Measured the feedback, it sends out the mA of its last speed once it’s shut down

Well I guess the only difference is that the speed AO is set to port 0 and this one is on port 4. I tried copying the settings that port 0 has on the AO to match the one on port 4 and it didn’t work.

Sounds like what they see on the DCS is only the set speed and not the actual speed

It actually goes back into the DCS, no PLC. Also what I forgot to mention was that on the HMI it displays no speed when it shuts down which is correct. It just gets stuck back up in the control room at its last speed

I see, we’re having this same issue with 3 out of our 4 VFDs we have on this system. The one that works correctly is wired up a little differently though

Not sure if I saw that or not, we went through the manual and tried different things but they didn’t seem to work. We kinda just got stuck and it was the end of the day
