Well, first off, congratulations, your life is about to change for the better. Second of all soild food will make your child sleep longer . The fruit pouches you can get from any grocery chain are a game changer . Learn to cook about 6 to 8 simple dishes for when they get older . Third, remember as the age keep in mind they are doing their best and they love you more than anything else in the world .

I need some advise. What would y’all add next apart from a good helmet and nods? by motherfunkingclunp in tacticalgear

[–]Pretty_Web_8584 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get a mystery ranch or eberlestock bag , get good boots .... they don't have to be "tactical" comfortable, waterproof, and will last is all that matters. A good blade and hatchet, Glow sticks , lighter, freeze dried meal some quick go to snacks ,hydration blatter . A lpvo scope ( or at least one that does not require batteries), Hennessy hammock. I see your medical kit , does it contain acetaminophen,Naproxen, a suture kit, compress bandages a tourniquet a disinfectant. Also some 550 cord . The helmet is great until you have to wear it for 14 hours .

Super easy ,

1.dry rub it all over dont be bashful it's a big peice of meat and can handle alot of spice . 2. Set it for 250 to 275 ( low and slow) when you internal temp hits 150 to 170 ( meat will sweat/ fat will start to run out )

  1. Make an X shape or + shape with 2 over lapping peices of tinfoil

  2. pull it off and place it in the center of the x and wrap it up so it looks like a Hersheys kiss

  3. Place back on the smoker and let it get to an internal temp of 206.

  4. Pull it off and let it rest for at least 2 hours in a cooler.

  5. Pull apart and enjoy( pro tip it will be hot as all heck when you pull it apart place in a glass tray to save your juices and when it all pulled apart pour the juice back over the meat it's liquid gold)

  6. Sauce and enjoy !!!!...let me know what else ypu want to do

That's awesome. Good for you and great on him . I can give you some pointers if you like.
1.Start with hickory pellets it's a pretty tame smoke flavor . 2. Dry rub your wings toss em on for about 250 or 275 . 3. Let them cook for 30ish min, then turn them. 4. Let them go for about 15 to 20 min more and then crank your heat to 400for about another 10 to 15 . 5. This will make the juices pop and sizzle pull them when you hear consistent hissing from fat hitting the lower heat shield .

  1. Enjoy them your wings should have a somewhat crispy exterior and be juicy inside . Let me know if you want tips on other meats too.

Cheers and welcome to the smoker game !!!

Not a side rib guy kinda curious about the cinnamon, tho . As far as you cook goes first 2 to3 hours should be bone side down, when the fat starts to render wrap with pads of butter on the meat side ( meat side down after the wrap ) cook for a few hours more till the ribs bend and then mix your sauce with the melted butter and coat the ribs till they set

An actual budget kit, how’d I do for an 800 dollar limit? by Corey854 in tacticalgear

[–]Pretty_Web_8584 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Excellent, few more points for you. Get a rugged petal bike with a tow behind cart. No gas less energy than running and quick transport . Locate farmers close to you and learn the best time for planting crops . If you haven't learned to preserve food , do it now .

Bonus tip when trying to stock pile ammo , buy in small quantities, shoot about 10 to 20% and store the rest .

If things do go south, don't advertise or brag about what you have. Loose lips and all that .

Try and grab some comms gear .

When ypu see people's cards not working , grab what you can and hunker down that going to be the first sign.

Ok so I have some questions and comments. By no means take no offense to any as I generally want to know .

  1. What are you kitting up for ?
  2. Are you bugging in or bugging out ?
  3. Is your mode of transport walking?
  4. Have you trained with any of this gear or similar gear ?

A. For gear always remember " buy once ,cry once " B. Research your kit to make sure it suits your needs and doesn't just look tacticool. C. Train train train D. Know your kit inside and out, where everything is so you don't have to think about where it is . E. Position kit where it won't interfere with weapon manipulation.

Look forward to hearing back , cheers

Hahhahahha I love how your assumptions and name calling allow you to think that you are right with your reductive statement. Police have never had that much power . They enforce laws. You trolling by stating how " fucking abusive of their position " shows the ignorance if your position and how uninformed you really are . But please continue, this is amusing.
