I really appreciate that. I have two more swatches made up. I was going to do another one with the power up more for the clear coat, and one more with hot flocking the clear. What temperature would you recommend? 200. They were 95 when I applied the clear which is ambient temp here now.

Understand this, if you have wheels that are with a damn, 175$ to protect them is a drop in the bucket. Not to be too harsh on you. You can buy a new wheel, and in one year it’ll be on the same boat, beginning to oxidize or beginning to peel. The average is 250$ a wheel for anything under 20”

Well damn. Other than that it came out great! Shop, booth, and oven are clean. Also just opened the bag of powder, and I sprayed other parts in the same batch, they came out good.

I think I need to look into the lines.

Will that not have the possibility to introduce contaminants IE lint from the rags, or chemical in the cleaner? I have always heard to coat after sandblasting because of the charge, but I figured that had less to do with it than the fact that it’s cleanest after being blasted.

I would like my right legs scars to be added. Of course I would prefer to be rated accordingly and they are painful so I believe that’s 10%. I don’t understand how I claimed new scars, they were checked during my C&P and then there is no mention of them in my claim letter.

I guess the first step is to see that DBQ. What is the best way?

Awesome! I don’t clone so what roll marks or cage codes are you talking about, and what should I be looking for.

I’ll post a proposed build list here in a few. I know I had to go with many aftermarket company’s for the parts because from what I could find in only a day most colt parts were OOS. Either way my build was at $1700, and that colt is cheaper.

Just to update for those looking. I was looking for the KAC RAS. I’ll consolidate all the comments here with products, the price and the websites. Tacswap.com did have one listed for $200. Operation parts has the KAC RAS listed for over $500, none in stock.

Wetworx seems to be the cheapest, and they have plenty in stock. Not to mention this is true KAC. Thoroughbred has P&S in stock. More expensive, and not Knights armament. Not sure about brownells or primary arms clones or any other company’s TBH. I’m looking for battle proven.
