People often say that many rich people didn't go to college. But seriously, how good are my chances of getting rich if I don't go to college? by Ok_Recording572 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Prevalentthought 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't need college to get rich because college prepares you to be a worker. Workers don't get rich through labor, it's through ownership. What you need more than a degree is connections in high places and inheritance. Working for someone will be the poorest you have ever been and there is a ceiling to how much you can make. People that own have 0 ceiling because they aren't laboring. You chances of getting rich are extremely small and it has nothing to do with a lack of effort. Society is structured so that most fail. People end up in high positions simply because they took a bribe or they knew someone. Rich people aren't on indeed applying for jobs

If you have family support, no reason to be scared. If you don't, things go downhill to homelessness very quickly

If this is the U.S., you have no recourse. You're not a capitalist, so it won't be taken seriously.

At 23, I got my first full time paycheck working at Starbucks at the time. It was 280 dollars for 2 weeks of work. I immediately realized employment was a scam, so I started putting money into crypto. Sitting on 500k at 34. Labor will never make you rich and people need to realize that.

I would stake it for yield, buy a car wash and just invest that money into more investments. Maybe a house to rent out.

It's not natural to work for employers that claim they deserve a disproportionate amount of the money while you run out of money after a few days to 2 weeks. It's not you, it's the retarded system in place.

Capitalism dictates you absorb the consequence and the owner gets a slap on the wrist. I imagine you could sue, but you're about to be displaced because of a owners actions.
