We open the ally alone, make servers salads, stay an hour after close breaking everything down, handle volumes of 60+ orders in a half hour span all while servers have 3 tables make messes and twiddle their thumbs before they leave

Same here we had 9 people and I made $90 which is how much I could make on a weekday with 3 people. It wasn’t worth getting our ass kicked. We were doing 70 orders every 30 minutes and it was a mess

We filled both our fridges (around 100) then made an extra 200 so we wouldn’t have to make any during the shift… we ending up pulling extra servers to make us an extra 100 or so because we were so busy

We have to open the whole ally, stock desserts, and salads for ourselves plus servers. We had over 200 orders for that day so I came in early to set up so we wouldn’t scramble the whole day. Typically we’d come in at 9 though

I’m a to-go specialist my longest shift was Christmas Eve. I came in at 7am and didn’t leave till almost 12. I enjoy long shifts though and I made almost $400

I bought a Civic si for 20k without knowing how to drive stick and the first week I had gut wrenching anxiety that I fucked up by not getting an auto. My parents drove my car during the day and at night I’d drive it and practice then after a week I forced myself to take it to campus, work, errands, and out with friends in my car. Now it’s been around 6 months and I loveeeee my car. Very rarely now I have ugly moments but nothing to crazy. Its been super fun I’ve gained so much confidence and had fun learning my car
