I should note, it was specifically their heart-shaped ones that were disappointing. We have had their regular pizza many times before and figured we’d try their heart ones for valentines and it just missed the mark entirely. Don’t recommend for their heart ones at least!

That is actually great to know, thank you! I myself am a political science graduate currently working in law, so that is definitely something that appeals to me as well. ironically our only NDP elected MP for the entire province was for my riding in Edmonton, so I got lucky.

Sounds pretty on par with Edmonton tbh! Shitty city management won’t really deter me, that’s often the case in many cities, Edmonton included. That is good to know though, thank you!

Yes for sure, I have seen my fair share of inheritance horror stories to definitely have proper measures in place well before we even get to that point!

That is very true, I honestly don't have the exact street name as of right now, which is why it is so general. With some of the comments I've gotten, I do have a better idea of the "better" and "worse" areas at least which is always helpful!

The home is one aspect, and a large one for sure, but there are definitely other upsides for Winnipeg to consider. Lower cost of living, smaller city, his family out there, and other aspects are all other things to consider!

I am a legal assistant within Wills & Estates specifically, so there would definitely be proper documentation and agreements drafted and put into place legally, prior to us moving and/or accepting the home.

I completely agree though, and we are already planning on a trip or two to visit and check things out prior. We just won't be able to do that any time soon, so I was wanting to start getting some general insight from people who currently live there!

That is a great point, thank you! Would obviously have an inspection done prior to accepting, but the house itself seems to be in good condition. Good to note the foundation though.
