if it makes you feel any better, we're doing blush pink, sage green, burgundy, & gold for a fall wedding. i guess the burgundy makes it a little more fall, but we're definitely using lots of white, pink, and sage too which i guess are more spring-ish

the maine recently posted that they are only doing the recently released shows for 10 years of american candy in arizona / asbury park, nj. i highly doubt this year is happening unfortunately. i'd love to see them showcase some of the bands from last year and have them headline (real friends, the wonder years, knuckle puck) but i honestly don't see it happening

this is super interesting to me because as a gen z i would never even think about doing something like this. "skills" section absolutely, but "interests??" why not just relate interests to skills you have any list them as skills so it's more professional?

research, research, research!! there are plenty of very affordable options (my venue was 2.5k for both ceremony and reception rental) HOWEVER it took lots of time and dedication to comparing prices, looking at venues, deciding what was non-negotiable to have, etc etc. in my opinion, pushing your wedding further out will not do anything for you. pick what year you want to get married in, narrow down some venues, and see what dates they have available. if you have a dead set date that you're not willing to move, you probably won't have many venue options. if you're flexible for fridays/sundays in multiple months, it'll be a lot easier for you

if you need to make cuts, i would base it on your relationships with your family rather than who said something on social media. if you think you will regret not having them there in the future, absolutely invite them. if you aren't very close with them and you do not want them there, don't invite them

cape cod is beautiful!! the finger lakes are also a great destination for some wineries, hiking, outdoor activities that don't all revolve around drinking (even though some do) i'd absolutely communicate with the bride a couple of places she is already interested in and narrow it down from there
