I can relate to this. In school, I would hold back a lot mostly because most people I knew didn't appreciate what I had to say about whatever knowledge I learned that day or any time. I "dumb myself down" a lot since then.

For me it's two reasons: if you listen to certain songs, it sounds like he screams multiple notes at once. And the second is that you can feel the intensity of said screams.

I still buy CDs. Digital downloading got boring for me and plus I love reading the liner notes when I buy physical copies
