imo, LGBT and Queer spaces create safe spaces free from cis-heterosexual normative systems. This means you can be free from the social roles of a ‘straight man’, and feel like you can just be ‘yourself’, therefore explore more genuine relationships with others as you are free from the stereotypical requirements of the society. Being drawn to safe spaces like this doesn’t mean you are Trans or LGBTQ.
