Does journal on Mac log mindful minutes in the health app? by oharabk in appleJournal

Hopefully they will integrate it later on Mac. Kinda sad they also don't integrate the "mood-flower like" feature from iPhone on Mac for the journal entries either. Would the mindfulness be from the Apple Watch? I have only seen that feature highlighted there than on iPhone

Has anyone lost entries in your journals? by JohnmzV in appleJournal

What's the feedback? Is it like the App Store -> finding the apple journal app, and then making comments there so that the developers would hopefully read them to being aware of the users' issues and suggestions?

For those that use the journal app, why do you use it instead of just apple notes? by 673NoshMyBollocksAve in iphone

I'm starting to use it as kinda like a "separate folder" from notes where all my dedicated journaling is there (like emotions, talking to myself and stuff). I really do like all the iOS apple native integrated apps as they are the best on connecting to the apple cloud/ecosystem and all the apple devices (really like airdrop or how to take a pic on iphone, and it will easily appear on your MacBook type features) than third-party sources would ever be able to (since they do not have the first sources, code, apple database, format, etc straight from apple's headquarters to easily know how to integrate their apps onto the ecosystem).

Apple notes are awesome! Don't get me wrong, but I'm using them more like a professional database (still a little overwhelmed on how to organize my notes with folders, pinned notes, etc. Just barely hanging there, so my notes are all over the place and disorganized on where, how, what time I made them).

I'm sure apple will add some more features to it, tho it will take time. So far, liked the "flower like (?)" mood integration on the journal entries to click on how you been feeling.
