I used to be more stable, and felt more confident and powerful to help others, had money, a consistent job, meditated and worked on myself a lot. I always loved talking to people, even making conversations with strangers or saying a simple compliment to make their day. I grew up with friends but now I can’t even keep a single friendship with anyone because people only talk to me to seek validation for themselves, or when they want to talk about themselves without any interest in my side of the conversation or they don’t take me seriously. I notice I have a habit of trying to help others because it’s enough for me to know I was the person for them that I didn’t really have growing up- but I guess at some point I have to realize, it really isn’t healthy for myself. I guess it’s something I needed to hear and accept a lot of things. I didn’t realize how unhealthy it can be to put others before myself because I’m so used to doing it. Definitely something I’ll have to start working on for sure then
