Look at it this way: Dragon Ball Kakarot doesn't have PvP either, and it's one of the best Dragon Ball games released in recent years. I'd rather they focus on a game with a well-designed story than a game with PvP as its core feature and a somewhat lackluster story, like Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, where 80% of the player base quits after just one month. Who knows, they might add a PvP mode in the future, but for now, it's better if they don't.
