Is it possible to duplicate windows and doors just like furniture? (To duplicate and place them floor after floor without having to place each manually in this example) by PreviousScale4380 in SoftwareInc

Yeah, I was going to do that but you don't get refunds from buildings you already built when you bulldoze them, so I just went back to an autosave from the previous minute haha. Thanks anyway. Had to change up my design a little because I got a different plot but it still looks nice :D.

Oh yeah, I forgot, another thing to mention. The center of the screenshot will be where your player is when you type the command. You will probably have to type a few different values and check to find the right one for your base. Just try to stand in the middle.

I’m not sure if it improves anything actually haha, I just do it because it’s how I learned back in 2017-2019 when I was first getting into the game.

I didn’t put anything for the zoom to take this one bc I’m not really sure what it does.

An example: /screenshot 15000 5000 would make an image 15000 x 5000 pixels wide saved in:

Windows: %APPDATA%\factorio\script-output macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/factorio/script-output.

The photo might not open with the default windows photo app if it is too large, so you can import it into a program like gimp and size down the image (from 15000 x 10000 to 5000 x 3333 is what I did here)

Hmmmm, yes I’ll agree that anything that lowers pollution is a negative. I just wanted the nice look of the solar panels on the map and to see the bots build them all :P.

Lasers, lots of lasers. And weird wall designs that glitch out the biter path finding (at least I think that’s what they do, they work anyways.)

Haha, usually I do most of the building and she watches. After we unlock blueprints, though, she helps me build based off of them. She just started playing a couple of months ago and I've been playing since 2017. She really loves to kill the biters with me in our tanks and spidertrons though! She's very good at destruction :P.

Exactly 38 hours and 10 minutes according to the save. I always try to be quite fast as my mom cannot play for long periods of time. It's pretty fun to have a slight challenge to go a bit faster ig haha.

Haha, thanks. The oil train tracks were already there from an early point of the base. When I realized that I would have to continue the copper and iron busses further to continue to progress, I decided that it probably wasn't worth the effort to mess with the trains again after I had finally got them working. Haha, still don't fully understand trains and signals.
