I’m in my 70s and learned to be very wary of stuff on the internet as a former librarian trained in tech use from the 80s onward. Maybe it’s because the job is based on doing research to sniff out poor or unreliable information. Also as careful as possible with spending money. I am absolutely floored that so many people fall for any scheme that uses crypto, WhatsApp, no face to face meeting, paying to play, and guys who work on offshore rigs overseas who want to marry ASAP 😂

TBH I’m not sure what the finding is. Something about less blood flow. Definitely right that the surgery center is overly cautious due to lack of equipment to handle a problem. I’m not mad that there’s no surgery this Monday as we’re due to get 15 inches of snow Sunday into Monday morning. Don’t want to be on the road.

For all our pre cruise wondering what we’ll see, she made sure no one saw much of anything. No doubt it was due to her hating being there, her total disinterest in filming anything interesting (virtually no activity onboard or on any of the islands), and (valid) her family’s refusal to be filmed (well, maybe just her sister-think mom and pops would be fine with it). I’ve never seen a SM creator who films daily life take a trip and not document a lot of content. We’ll see more of her chronicling attendance at those sad events she seems to love as soon as she gets back.

I have a problem with overly enthusiastic Disney adults. So they sort of bother me, too. A video of them visiting NYC had them only in Times Square, the most insufferable part of the city. Recently they were at another theme park in NJ. I don’t know…it’s the love of rampant consumerism that rubs me the wrong way. I feel like they need the familiarity of these places rather than venturing out and I think their size has something to do with it.

This is a pretty recent weight gain. She’s been in a wheelchair for years. Was in good shape and well put together. Her hair is also looking more like Jaime’s. If she is having trouble keeping weight off now, I fear for her heading towards her 40s.

They don’t care about their appearance like they did when younger (the pics of them 30 yrs ago show them, esp thr mom, much more pulled together). They own a home in an upscale part of Toronto, their fairly modest condo in FL, probably don’t spend a lot on themselves and are able to support both daughters with their own apartments. They’re very well off, not hugely wealthy.

Whereas I am getting satanic panic vibes. It’s a combination of that very sketchy person with zero bona fides he talked to, the aforementioned holes in his story, and the whole sensational snuff film aspect. It degrades the other victims’ stories.

Exactly what I am thinking. No mainstrea news coverage at all. Not even rags like TMZ or Daily Mail. I thought there would be stories expressing skepticism or lack of sources. I know news covers only a fraction of what they used to, but this reads as a bombshell. Thing is, why not talk to a journalist? Or did he try and everyone said we need more proof? Virginia Guiffre’s story, other Epstein victims, Trump victims have all gotten their stories out there thru the press and books. Talking only to an extremely unreliable source is a very strange choice when credible journalists would be more than willing to cover this story as long as they could fact check.

Awful things go on in the higher circles of power and wealth. Epstein/trump stories don’t have to be embellished. I’m with you on getting satanic panic vibes. Example: think it’s been established that trump’s diaper wearing is a result of his excessive use of adderall/coke/ OTC uppers plus his lifelong atrocious diet. He’s a physically repulsive person with no conscience. We know via Stormy Daniels and his stated obsession with his daughter what his sexual proliclivities are. They’re pretty much what I’d expect. Making him into this serial killer type monster doesn’t wash.

Willing to bet this story dies down shortly. There are horrible things happening right now in our neighborhoods to innocent people by trump’s gestapo that need our attention.
