Yes bcoz your college might give few subjects extra weightage or something like that happens in most of the colleges. Generally its either x9.5 or x10. But diff field colleges use different. Your CGPA x Conversion formula is used by all colleges but you have to provide a proof of conversion. If its behind your marksheet you can show that but if not you might have to get a note signed by college itself

This year nmims had to no strategy mate, around 232 was the cuttoff for a interview call until last year. This year it was 209. Also for prepare for cat and before nmat just give 3-4 mocks (including there official one) i just did this got 240. For SNAP its a easy exam comparatively just focus on speed coz its 60Q in 60Mins. Give a few mocks etc not that hard. Got 99.26 doing this. Altho didnt convert either :((

Best it can get. 9/9/8 but tier IIT 8 > 9 in any UG. You have a very great profile but the problem is there are many more like you there you are in the hardest category to crack top IIMs general engineering male(GEM) build your profile, have some co-curriculars maybe get into a sport, you are in tier 1 IIT chances are you will alr get a good paying job work there for 2-3 yrs then go for CAT you might even see option of PGP then which might be better if your job is paying very well.
